About The Event

Join us for a profound and sacred ayahuasca ceremony led by the esteemed shaman Claudino Perez from the Murui Indigenous Tribe in the Amazon of Colombia, accompanied by Monica Laskay DDS, a respected medicine woman and healer. This unique experience at the beautiful Clearwater Retreat in La Grange, Texas, offers participants an opportunity to embark on a transformative journey of healing and spiritual awakening in a serene and supportive environment.

Setting:

The ceremony will take place at Clearwater Retreat, nestled in the tranquil landscape of La Grange, Texas. This serene and natural setting, with its expansive grounds and peaceful ambiance, is the perfect backdrop for deep introspection and connection with the divine. The ceremony will be held in a specially prepared space, either indoors in a comfortable ceremonial room or outdoors under the open sky, depending on the weather and group preference.

Duration and Participation:

Claudino Perez and Monica Laskay DDS will be sharing ayahuasca over the course of three nights. Participants have the flexibility to choose how many nights they wish to partake in the ceremony:

  • $350 for the first night
  • $550 for two nights
  • $700 for all three nights

Preparation:

Participants are encouraged to engage in a period of preparation before the ceremony. This may include dietary restrictions (known as the ayahuasca diet), fasting, and abstaining from certain substances and activities. This preparation helps to purify the body and mind, enhancing the effectiveness and depth of the experience.

The Ceremony:

Claudino Perez, with his vast knowledge and deep experience, will guide the ceremony. He begins with an invocation, calling upon spiritual entities, ancestors, and the spirits of the plants for protection and guidance. Monica Laskay DDS will assist, bringing her own healing practices and wisdom to the ceremony. Their combined presence ensures a safe and sacred space for participants.

Drinking Ayahuasca:

The ayahuasca brew, made from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and the Psychotria viridis leaves, will be administered by Claudino. Participants receive the brew with prayers and blessings. The taste is typically bitter, and the effects start to manifest within 20 to 60 minutes.

The Journey:

As the medicine takes effect, participants may experience a range of sensations, including visual and auditory hallucinations, emotional revelations, and deep introspective insights. Claudino and Monica will guide the journey with icaros (sacred songs), chants, and sometimes musical instruments, helping to navigate the experience and provide comfort.

Healing and Insights:

The effects of ayahuasca can last between 4 to 6 hours. During this time, participants may confront and release traumas, gain clarity on life issues, and experience a profound sense of connection to the universe and their true selves. Claudino and Monica provide support throughout the journey, assisting participants in processing and integrating their experiences.

Integration:

After the effects of the medicine have subsided, there will be a period of sharing and integration. Participants are encouraged to reflect on their experiences and share their insights with the group. This process helps to ground the profound revelations and facilitates the healing process.

Meals and Accommodation:

Meals will be provided throughout the retreat. Participants can choose to camp on the retreat grounds with their own camping gear or rent a bed in the house. Accommodation in the house starts at $100.

Post-Ceremony:

Integration continues in the days and weeks following the ceremony. Participants may receive guidance on how to incorporate the lessons learned into their daily lives. This can involve further spiritual practices, counseling, or community support.

Conclusion:

An ayahuasca ceremony with Claudino Perez and Monica Laskay DDS at Clearwater Retreat in La Grange, Texas, is a transformative experience that offers deep healing and spiritual awakening. Under the compassionate and knowledgeable guidance of Claudino, from the Murui Indigenous Tribe, and the healing presence of Monica, participants will journey into the depths of their consciousness, connecting with ancient wisdom and emerging with a renewed sense of purpose and clarity.
